Chasing Fairy Doors Downtown

Besides big art exploding in all directions, Ann Arbor has tiny art, too. Miniature "fairy doors" are scattered across downtown, built right into the baseboards and exteriors of local businesses.

Two of the best ones to find are located right outside the front door of the Michigan Theatre and tucked inside the historic Nickels Arcade. Pro tip: It is a local tradition to leave a small token or penny for the fairies for good luck.
